The Dirty Dozen

League rules · 2026 season · version 1

A full-PPR redraft league of 12 teams on Sleeper. $100 a team, paid to the commissioner before the draft. This is short because most of it has not been decided yet.

  • Teams · 12
  • Format · Redraft, full PPR
  • Buy-in · $100 per team
  • Paid to · the commissioner, before the draft starts
  • Payouts · not set yet — see section 08

2

01 The league

  1. Twelve teams. Sleeper has 12 rosters in this league, and 12 teams is the size it is built for.
  2. Redraft. Sleeper has the league type set to redraft, and the 2026 draft was run that way — not one pick in it was taken as a keeper.
  3. Full PPR. One point per reception, every position.
  4. The 2026 draft was a seventeen-round snake draft on Sleeper, held on 1 September 2026, and it is complete. Seventeen rounds fills all seventeen roster spots. (Sleeper's league page carries a stale "3 rounds" value in its settings; the draft itself is the real record, and it ran seventeen.)
  5. Sleeper is the system of record for scores, transactions and timestamps. Every number in this document was read off Sleeper on the date at the top.
  6. This document is the whole rulebook so far. It is deliberately short. Section 08 lists what still has not been decided, and nothing is a rule here until the commissioner writes it here.

02 Dues

The buy-in is paid directly to the commissioner. No escrow service holds the league's money.

  1. $100 per team. That is the whole league fee.
  2. Pay the commissioner directly — cash, Zelle, Venmo, however suits you. There is no service in the middle holding it.
  3. Paid before the draft starts.
  4. Nothing else has been decided about the money. There is no written rule yet about refunds, about being late, or about what happens to a team that does not pay. See section 08.

4

03 Rosters

Seventeen spots: eleven starters and six bench.

Starters (11) Bench IR Taxi
QB · RB ×2 · WR ×2 · TE · FLEX ×2 · IDP flex · K · DEF 6 none none
  1. Eleven starters: one quarterback, two running backs, two receivers, one tight end, two FLEX, one IDP flex, one kicker and one team defense.
  2. The two FLEX slots are filled this season with running backs, receivers and tight ends. Sleeper decides which positions a slot will accept, and the lineup editor is what tells you.
  3. The IDP flex is a real defensive player, not a team defense — every one drafted into it in 2026 was a linebacker or a defensive lineman. The kicker and the team defense are separate slots on top of it.
  4. Six bench spots, and that is all the room there is.
  5. There is no IR slot and no taxi squad. An injured player takes up a bench spot the same as anybody else.

5

04 Scoring

Full PPR with six-point passing touchdowns and IDP scoring switched on. Sleeper holds the complete table — these are the settings worth knowing before you set a lineup.

Play Points
Reception 1
Passing TD 6
Passing yards 0.04 per yard
Interception thrown −2, and −4 more if it is returned for a touchdown
Rushing / receiving TD 6
Rushing / receiving yards 0.1 per yard
Fumble lost −2
  1. One point per reception, at every position. No position gets a bigger share than another.
  2. A passing touchdown is worth six, the same as a rushing or receiving one.
  3. A thrown interception costs two points, and a pick six costs four more on top of that — six in total from one throw.
  4. There are no bonuses. Not for 100 yards, not for 300 passing yards, not for a long touchdown, and no points for first downs.
  5. IDP scoring is on, because there is an IDP flex to fill: a solo tackle is 1, an assist 0.5, a sack 2, an interception 2, a forced fumble 2, a fumble recovery 3, a pass defended 1, a quarterback hit 1, a tackle for loss 1, and a defensive touchdown 6.
  6. Kickers score by distance — 3 from inside 40, 4 from the forties, 5 from the fifties, 6 from 60 or beyond, 1 for an extra point. A missed field goal from inside 50 costs a point; from 50 or beyond it costs nothing. A missed extra point costs a point.
  7. Team defense scores the ordinary way — 6 for a touchdown, 2 for a safety, 2 for a fumble recovery, 2 for an interception, 1 for a sack, 1 for a forced fumble, 2 for a blocked kick, plus sliding bonuses for points and yards allowed.
  8. Sleeper's settings page is the full list. There are well over a hundred scoring fields behind this league. If a stat is not named above, look it up there rather than guessing.

6

05 Waivers

  1. FAAB blind bidding. You bid an amount, nobody sees anyone else's bid, and the highest bid wins the player.
  2. $100 of FAAB per team for the season. That is bidding money inside Sleeper, not real dollars, and it has nothing to do with the buy-in.
  3. There is no minimum bid. A bid of $0 is a legal bid.
  4. Nothing else about waivers has been written down — not the run day, not how ties are broken, not whether a dropped player clears. Sleeper's settings are running the league on this until the commissioner writes a rule. See section 08.

7

06 Trades

  1. The trade deadline is week 11. From week 11 onward no trade goes through, whatever the two teams have agreed.
  2. Before then, trades are open. Nothing in this document limits who may trade with whom or what a fair trade looks like.
  3. Draft picks cannot be traded. Sleeper has pick trading switched off, and in a redraft league there are no future picks to trade anyway.
  4. Sleeper is currently set to hold a trade for two days before it processes. That is a platform setting, not a rule the league voted on, and there is no written veto rule. See section 08.

8

07 Playoffs

  1. Six teams make the playoffs. Six do not.
  2. The playoffs start in week 15 and run three rounds — weeks 15, 16 and 17, one week per round.
  3. The top two seeds sit out the first round. With six teams, four play in week 15 and the other two go straight to week 16.
  4. There is a third-place game in the final week, and a fifth-place game in week 16.
  5. How the six seeds are ordered has not been written down. Sleeper is seeding them. See section 08.

9

08 What is not written down yet

This document was written on 11 September 2026, from what the commissioner has decided so far and from what Sleeper is actually set to. That is genuinely all of it.

  1. There are no payouts. Not a first-place figure, not a second-place figure, not a prize for a week's high score, not a regular-season prize. The prize structure has not been decided, and until the commissioner writes one here, this league has no payout rule.
  2. Nothing has been decided about refunds, paying late, a team that never pays, replacing a manager mid-season, inactive teams, empty lineups, tanking, collusion, trade vetoes, waiver run days, tiebreakers, playoff seeding, conduct, or how this document gets changed.
  3. Where this document is silent, Sleeper's settings are what happen — not because anybody voted for them, but because they are what the platform does. A Sleeper setting is not a league rule. Nowhere in sections 01 to 07 does a Sleeper setting become one, and nothing here promises any of them will stay as they are.
  4. Anything not written in this document is not a rule. Not a group chat message, not a precedent from a previous season, not something everyone assumes. If it matters, ask the commissioner to write it here.
  5. This is version 1. It is expected to grow. When it does, the version and the date at the top change with it.
